Hi all, I know this is a 'how long is a piece of string' type question but what are people experiences of the age a brahma chick starts crowing ? Many thanks

IMO it depends on so many things. I had one in a large flock with so many faster maturing cockerels that were crowing early and in my experience, slower maturing birds will crow later because of the dominance of those already crowing.
If he's the only male, maybe by 17-18 weeks but they are very slow to mature.

Thank you very much for the information

I'm interested as well, because my Brahma cockerel is 10 weeks now, and I love those crows!!! My white leghorn is squacky though, looking forward to beautiful Brahma crows.
Hercules is 14 weeks now. I though I heard him make a funny noise the other day which I thought may have been his first attempt at crowing 🤣🤣
