Brahma egg laying

Thought those of you with Brahmas might appreciate this. Our light Brahma just started laying and before she started we joked that her eggs will have feathers just like the rest of her. This was her second egg lol

Its true. I have Dark Brahma, same same. I'm sure there are reasons for it, some I could guess at - but fluffy butts make for feathered eggs.
