Hello fellow chicken lovers! I have need of some opinion today. My beautiful Brahma boy Two Dot seems to be having an eye issue this morning. It’s the first time I’ve seen anything like it and we’ve had the start of the flock for two years now. Other than being a little less...frisky, he’s otherwise acting fine. There’s no discharge or smell that I can see and other than the ever going battle of mites I don’t see other obvious signs of illness. He does patrol his run quite often as there’s a second group of birds above his group(I seem to have horrid luck with getting roosters) so injury is certainly possible from the run surfing.
As for treatment. Our tractor supply’s only have the 250ml version of Tylan so that’s not an option. Is there another good product that’s effective for respiratory infections?
