*sigh*
I am new to raising chickens and I have three chickens in my suburban backyard, two RIRs and light brahma and they are almost 20 weeks old. My brahma is also starting to crow (I think).
At first I was in denial but I can't ignore that she/he also has quite a bit of hackle and saddle feathers. The place where I got them from said they were sexed female, but I am thinking this is definitely a rooster.
Just wanted to post for second opinion before I get rid of him. Can you tell I am halfway in denial? I definitely can't keep a rooster due to city ordinance and also because my neighbors are probably ****** with him 'finding his voice'. I must say that I am also getting irritated, I work night shift and it wakes me up when I should be sleeping. =/
Thanks for the input!
