Brahma/Turken cross

So this little one is supposed to be a brahma and Turken cross. I'm assuming light brahma based on her head color and some reddish feathers? Any way I was wondering if the chest feathers that are dark are any indication of gender. I know dark brahma makes will get black chest feathers but with this one being so patchy I cant tell. Any thoughts?

Interesting cross! I'm not sure if the black chest feathers mean anything or not. Without knowing the colors of the parents it's really not possible to say at this point, but you could be right.

Agreed, you'd need to know what color the parents; on both sides, were. Brahmas typically come in Light, Dark and Buff... Turkins can come in an array of colors...
