Brahmas? Sex?

Any idea what sex these 5 are? Also, mom was a light Brahma but curious what kind of mix these could be? Thoughts? TIA! (5 total chicks, alternated white and black chicks in pictures)

no idea. you'll have to wait till they get older. around 8 weeks if they get saddle feathers they are a rooster.

I do not unfortunately. Our neighbor begged us to take them in and brood them with our newly hatched bielefelders. So I got to meet the mama but not the possible dad(s)

Also, they are the absolute most friendly chicks ever. I’ve heard Brahmas tend to be docile, but these chicks are something else. Absolutely cuddle bugs

In a few weeks once they start growing adult feathers it would be easier to tell, but I'm not sure with how young they are.

If you absolutely can't wait to find which ones are roos and which are hens, you can send in poop or feathers to have them Dna tested. It is pretty pricey though

Compared to my own Brahma, I would say that the very first one is a cockerel. Unsure about the others.
