Brahmas

I know the barred Rock. I’m sorry, I meant the all black one. In the back. She likes to hide and run from me so it’s hard to get a good picture lol.

Lol until you said she has foot
Oh! She’s got some foot feathers. She’s a Midnight Majesty Marans.
lol until you said that I’ve never noticed them! I had to go out there just to try and get a closer look. She hates me I swear lol. She hides in the shadows and goes crazy when we try and go near her. I have to say out of all the chickens she is not my favorite. 😂

She’s pretty though. Has she started laying?

No not yet. We got our Easter eggers first in March and only one has started laying just a few days ago. I love our Easter eggers they are very friendly and love attention. They are very smart compared to our others haha. My bigger silkie rooster is my absolute favorite. He is handsome and knows it. He will cuddle up in your lap like he’s a little dog. He is a bully though to the smaller one. So what am I suppose to do with three other roosters? Our chickens free roam our half acre during the day but I wouldn’t think having 5 roosters in a coop would be the best. Won’t they hurt each other? Should I find someone that can take the others? Like I said I’m new to this so idk what I’m doing still 😂.

I will just have to purchase them from a individual instead of tractor supply if I want a specific breed. I bought our silkies from a individual and all our others from tractor supply.
If you're able, I would also recommend ordering chicks directly from a hatchery. Local breeders are good too, but there are pros and cons to both.
