Brahmas?

Bought these two as brahmas but um.....they don't really look like pure or good quality brahmas to me. Is it just because they are skinny or are they crossbred with something else entirely? They are 8 months old.

They look like juvenile partridge Brahmas to me, male and female. How old are they? I know Brahmas can be quite slow to mature, and the cockerels especially go through a gawky, not so pretty adolescence. I don't have enough of an eye for Brahmas to know how they'll finish out. You might look for the Brahma breeders on here (Sally Sunshine comes to mind) and ask them personally.

I agree with the others; they look to be young Partridge Brahmas.
