Brams Better Breeding Project.

Yeah that is why we are going to JMF to mix into our improved stock. We are getting to our own genetic line. We are also considering ordering from outside the US.

Id advise you to investigate this very well before you make too many plans about get'n eggs from far away lands.... To get eggs thru customs from out side the US is a outrageously expensive nightmare. Even after you pony up the cash, jump thru the hoops, and have your ducks in a row. Your eggs still sit in customs WAY too long and most just are no longer viable. Robby and the gentleman from Canada just went thru all this with the silver coturnix..... Even after 4 shipments (if I remember right), of dozens of eggs each. Its taken months to get a sustainable group of nice birds... He is just now get'n to the point he can start think'n selling eggs....

Thanks for the advice I found what I needed inside the US. This should be a great project. My first batch is breeding now. I have been raising quail for a few years and it has been fun but now it is time to find something more.
