Brand new at this

Very nice flock! Peewee does look like a cockerel, on his broadside photo it looks like you can see some long pointy saddle feathers in the back. Him and Silver have little crests so they are probably part Cream Legbar to make and olive egger. Fluffy is super adorable, she looks like a chocolate which isn't a super common color for hatchery chicks, she would be a fun one to put in the What breed am I forum!
Thank you, they are a lot of fun to have. I go out and sit on a stool inside the run with them every day. When I go out to them, they run to the fence excited to see me. They will all lay in the dirt right beside me while I read to them. I never knew having chickens would be so cool. They eat out of my hand too.
I would like to say thanks to everyone here for making me feel so welcome and the girls like the attention too.
Here's a shot of them the first week we got them.

Hi! Nice to have you here! Bessie is stunning! I love that iridescence! You obviously know your BSLs. I think your 3rd picture is a RIR (hatchery variety, not heritage variety). 4th pic is probably a Chocolate Orpington (the legs are a little dark, but still my guess). Peewee is a Frost White Legbar cockerel (the only male I see). Silver is a Sapphire Olive Egger (or who knows what hatchery it came from, it's a blue OE). (Those are just my assumptions.)

Thank you for sharing pictures! I enjoyed "meeting" them all!

Thanks for taking the time to help me id some of them. Yeah, Bessie has a glow about her that I like too. I believe you're right about Merry and Fluffy. We're not allowed to have roosters. We had a Turkan also, but he began crowing so we had to cull him. I wasn't too happy about that. I don't want meat birds, just eggers. So it looks like I've gotta cull two more as well, leaving us with five. I still want a blue egger or two.

Greetings & Salutations. Welcome.

Culling is hard, at least for me but something that has to be done. Out of a hatch of 15, 5 for sure cockerels and probably 1-2 more. I was able to rehome 3.

I had considered rehoming the boys but afraid of cock fighters getting their hands on them. Wife has a couple of friends that have chickens, will see if they can take them.

A local Mennonite family took 3 and sold them at a small animal sale.

We eat chicken and our dog and cat eat a mostly raw diet, so I will do the deed on the 3. One tomorrow and another later in the week. I skin, so it doesn't take as long to dress. Also the organs are great for the dog/cat. I saved the feet from the 2 last year and pressure cooked them for a collagen bone broth.

It won't be the same with the ones I am closer to. Yuk, but life.

I'm only sure of one breed. We bought 8 chicks at Tractor Supply, and when we got home we saw that they didn't put the breeds on the reciept.
Two were definitely black sex links. One silver colored is supposed to lay olive colored eggs, two white chicks are supposed to lay blue eggs. (one has turned out to be a cockerel, not sure about the other one). I'll post pics and maybe someone can help me id the other breeds.
By the way, one of the black sex links is my favorite. She lets me pick her up and will sit in my lap with our Chihuahua. View attachment 4180313

Bessie is my lap girl. Silver is supposed to lay olive eggs. Unsure about the others. Fluffy is already clucking and appears to be queen bee in pecking order. The white ones were supposed to be blue layers, but as you can see, one is definitely not gonna lay eggs.
Well that's our babies, I'm just hoping that Peewee is a hen, but I doubt it.
Peewee looks like a white leghorn cockerel to me.

I though Peewee was a white leghorn but on looking again, I think you're right. A frost white legbar. :thumbsup
