We are in Augusta GA and have had chickens for about 4-5yr now. We currently have 14. Not sure how far you are from us but would be glad to help in any way and you are more than welcome to come see my babies.

I confess that tonite, after doing more reading about raising chickens, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed! I'm sure I'll learn as I go, but ..... time to put the book down and do some physical labor to prepare! (well, in the morning - kinda dark out now!) I know that will help ease the "OMG, what am I thinking!!" worries.
