That is very good taxidermy work, it looks very predatory in that pose. I wonder what made them decide to use Turkey feathers on a Peacock? Just a "Flight of Fancy" perhaps?

I've seen it as well, but never that many on a single bird. Makes me wonder about disease and or medications at certain times during the molt and regrowth, like the "safeguard and feather damage" thread??????

Do you have any pictures of a mature train without ocelli ? Or are you just talking a two year old?

seen it in 2 comming 3 and 3 comming 4 year olds oh and baby trains too

the photo above is of a 2 comming 3 year old by time his train grew out the onces without the ocellis were extended out further on the train just like Dany12 bird
