Hi there,
I have been keeping hens for the last 8 years and have gradually only added to my flock from adopting rescue chickens. Though they usually have a shorter life, they are a joy! I live on the coast in the San Francisco Bay area, and am looking to adopt 2-4 more but at least 2 at a time. My mom lives in the San Luis Obispo area and I will be going down to see her next weekend. Does anyone know of chickens that need to be re-homed in that area? I am especially interested in maybe hens from Cal Poly's Poultry Sci department or other rescues. Thanks in advance and I am happy to be part of this group!!
