BREAKING A ""BAD BIRDIE!"" HABIT!!

I don't think that chickens have the ability to taste the 'hot' sensation in peppers, so the hot sauce probably wouldn't work. My bad chickens love to hang out in the pepper patch of my garden and eat the jalapenos, serranos, and even the habanero peppers straight off the plants. It doesn't seem to phase them at all.

Sure makes the hubby hot under the collar, though. Those are HIS pepper plants.

* I can take pics with the ties on-- but can't post them!! Not til we get moved, at least! I ain't taking those things off until I get her to Oregon, I don't think. We got enough bad habits in the family!! LOL! Besides, it doesn't look like much when she's sucking on it. Kinda like she has a fat red wart on the side of her beak.

I don't know which is funnier, her sucking on her wattles or you tying them up!
