I just can't believe that it happened so soon after just getting started with raising chickens. I've lost 3 dog after yrs. of having them, but 3mo. as a chicken owner feel just as bad.

A lot of things can go wrong, and I understand it's upsetting

Hopefully the others will thrive and be happy and healthy for several years to come.

Yeah I hope so. They look great. The heat is an issue but I'm doing what I can to keep it cool in the run changing out warm water with ice water, wetting down the ground, puddleing cool treats etc..
We went through a few hot days without any eggs still low production for now 4hens. Got 2 2day, white and brown. Poop looks normal for the most part, still some diarea.
I'm not going to give up on them.
