I have a young call duck who is having labored breathing. She acts as if she is gasping for air. You can not here her wheezing but have noticed her sneezing. What can I do? Any suggestions!

How young? I have an 8 wk old that gasps everytime her crop is full. Even with a vet visit, we can't figure it out. Good luck. Maybe someone on here can help you.

she is a gray call a little over 8 weeks old. I went outside this morning when everyone was quiet (after feeding time and fresh daily water)

and I can hear her wheezing now. She is my only gray hen and I HATE to lose her. I may go down to the local co-op and get something for her. I really wanted someone's advice that has had this problem before and knew what to do. But, I guess trial and error will have to do. I can't just let her go like that....I feel sorry for her. Its almost like asthma and she also has a droopy left wing. So, yesterday when I had to catch her and fix it, thats when she started gasping for air, after she got a little excited. I'll let you know what I find out or if what I find at the co-op works!
