Inherited this pullet. No idea of breed or age. About the size of a pigeon.
Thank you!

Looks like an Araucana pullet.
Araucanas are supposed to have ear tufts.

I think this one has muff/beard, so maybe Ameraucana or Easter Egger.

Do you know anything about how long the previous owner had it? It must be at least that old.

More than 6 weeks old (because it's fully feathered.)
Is it laying eggs? If yes, she's at least 4 months old.
I have no idea on maximum age. (I can't tell a 6-month pullet from a 5-year hen.)

Is it crowing? If yes, it's a cockerel instead of a pullet, but is probably less than 4 months old (based on comb/wattle size.)

The muffs looked weird to me so I thought Araucana, but looks like it could be an Araucana mix.
I could believe Araucana mix.

I can't always distinguish ear tufts from muffs, but this one clearly has some beard under the chin too. Since Araucanas in the USA are not supposed to have any muff/beard, it cannot be a pure Araucana if it has any beard.

(Some other countries have different standards for Araucanas, although I don't think this bird matches any of them either.)

Thank you. I believe they had it around a month. I've had it 2 weeks. They said it wasn't a baby when they got it. It is between the size of a dove and pigeon. Not crowing

In that case, it would be at least 3 months old, and probably some kind of bantam (chicken that is small even when it is grown up.)

I think it's probably a female that will start laying eggs pretty soon (within the next month or so), based on how red the comb is.

A male could also have a comb that red, but a male over 3 months old would probably be crowing. Which means it's probably female, as you first thought :)

Ameraucanas and Easter Eggers both come in bantam size-- if you get blue or green eggs, then you've got a bantam Easter Egger, or maybe a bantam Lavender Ameraucana. If you get some other color eggs, it's probably a generic mixed-breed bantam.
