Breed and gender? Anyone know what I have here? - I’m a newbie!

I have an unexpected new addition to our flock

I’m wondering if anyone can tell me if this is a little lady or gentleman. I know there are some who can tell by the wings? Also any breed ideas? He or she is very pretty, looks like she’s may have a couple feathers on the feet? Any input would be appreciated we are beginners! thanks so much in advance!
