2 black chicks are 5 weeks + 2 days. Named Tiger and Zebra.
Thought we were getting Plymouth Barred Rocks, but they clearly are not.
Breeder was also selling “Red Rock Cross” so I assume that’s what they are. I understand that to be Black Sex Linked (aka Black Star).
If I am correct that means these are both females. Correct?
Photos aren’t great but perhaps enough to confirm the breed Is BSL and therefore that they are females.
The smaller one has lighter / brighter golden / orange markings, while the larger one has darker / more subtle markings.
