I have had my ducks for about 4 months now. I have a feeling that the "yellow" one is a female because she seems to have to quack plus she is a big smaller than my other duck. The black one has always been the leader (don't know if it has to do with male dominate reasons) thanks a ton!!

Gonna go with Welsh Harlequin for the top one and female yes i'd agree based upon coloring alone as the drake of that breed is different.

The second has me a bit stumped... i admit i only own a few mallard derived ducks(calls, pekin, buff) i am mainly Muscovy so my knowledge is not super broad on them.

Hope that helps at least a little! nice ducks and welcome to byc!

I agree on the welsh harlequin. Does the black duck have a white patch on its front, or is it all (mostly) black? Black with a big patch, Swedish. No patch, probaby Cayuga.

I'm not sure how to reply and if you guys got a message from me! Sorry if you did, thank you @Going Quackers that sounds right! & @littlefrog no white patch, but he/she has green on the wings and a tint of green on the head. But not like super green like a Cayuga, although he/she is only 4 months! I see new colors every week :)

Sounds just like a cayuga... Should be quacking/not quacking by this age. If it doesn't make a heck of a racket when you pick it up, probably a boy.
