Hello everybody, I got these little guys back on March 5 2021 today is April 15 and they we’re supposed to have hatched 2-3 days apart and supposed to be within 6-7 days old total when I got them. So they are 7 weeks oldish I’m thinking. But I didn’t get them from the hatchery or a store. I’m only going to keep 1 Rooster, the rest will be harvested around 6 months mark. The main purpose of getting my chickens was for eggs. And I have been thinking about trying to hatch my own also “looking for a incubator” “also have jumbo Quail, for eggs and harvesting probably most” first year for the quail.. but for now if you can help me, Breed and Gender of my Chickens. Thank you! I know time will tell for sure 😂 but I’m trying to figure out if I need to get some pullets like yesterday!!! lol thank you all very much!

Mixed breeds. Some are a bit young for an accurate gender ID. We also need to see combs and wattles, not backs and butts. All that being said... here are cockerels and likely cockerels from the ones I could see properly.

Too young to ID breeds, especially as they appear to be mixed. The two birds in front in picture 12 are possible cockerels as well as the white one in picture 3.
Thank you very much. These mixed breed ones could really be interesting to find out color, and amount of eggs I’ll get out of them. And the Roosters.. well idk.. I’ll keep the best one of the bunch. I’m thinking I have 6-7 to choose from Im betting.

Thank you very much. I will try to get some good shots of there faces, they are still warming up to me since I’ve moved them outside a little over a week ago. It’s been really cold up here. But now they are loving it outside! I’m thinking I might have more Roosters then hens. I’ve never successfully “only tried once” to introduce new birds to my existing flock. But this might be that year.
