Breed and gender ID help please?

I'm not new to birds. Just to ducks and geese. I know that my dogs must be kept separate. But, after 2 nights of the waterfowl going in a secure pen, after being told by the person who gave them to me, how easy to handle they are, they became adamant about not going in anything. And, my dogs need to go outside, occasionally. They're not cats, they aren't litter box trained. They have their needs too. The duck and goose got pretty stubborn, and decided to stay out. After my disabled self was done chasing them for 2 hours, I figured they'd have to deal with their decision.
I didn't want an issue, but, the dogs had to go out. So I limited their time. But, in so doing, they needed to go out more frequently, in the middle of the night, while I was trying to sleep. I got the duck and gander caught that next morning (the morning I posted this thread) and placed into a very large pen 50'x150'', that keeps the dogs away from them. It wasn't my choice, to leave the waterfowl out. They simply refused to go in. I understand. I was told they preferred to roam, so I tried to go with the instructions I was given.
But, sometimes, when an animal refuses to do what they normally do, they just have to deal with it, and we all hope for the best. Sometimes the chickens do that, sometimes the turkeys and guineas do, too.

And, no, I see no curled tail feather on the duck.

could you not use a leash?

could you not use a leash?

I have 6 dogs, and 15 acres. We bought acreage, because we wanted our 2 dogs to have room to be dogs. Then, we rescued 5 more dogs and had one passed, from cancer.
No, a leash is not an option. I already keep the dogs in the house, WAY MORE than they should be, because of the chickens and turkeys. They only go out at night, when the birds are cooped/penned up. The duck and goose will have to adapt to being in a pen. It's 150'x50' in size. That should be plenty of room for them, 25 chickens, and 3 turkeys. It was a matter of trying to get them in the pen. Now that they are there, the suggestion that I "leash my dogs" is ludicrous.

Not NOW obviously. I meant when you HAD to let your dogs out and couldn't keep them from the geese that ONE time. I'm working under a dog trainer right now and I promise you it is definitely possible to walk six dogs on leashes.

There are so many people who have their birds killed because of their own dogs. How is it fair that you can post about letting your dog PLAY ROUGH WITH A GOOSE and expect NO ONE to be upset by that?

I did not "let my dog play" with the birds. I let my dog out, to go potty, for a brief time, at 2, or 3 in the morning, after the goose and duck, refused to allow themselves to be put in secure housing.
When any of them shows any inclination, towards "playing" or otherwise, with any bird, they are corrected and disciplined, if necessary. They were disciplined, and I don't need you, or anyone else, reading more into what I typed. I simply stated the scenario, of why I was inquiring certain information. You read far more into it, than I said.
I'm not a twelve year old, who needs correction. If I want advice, I'll ask for it, just like I did.
I do not need mothering, or guidance. I simply wanted a bit of information on what kind of goose and duck I have.
My dogs do well with my chickens, but they recognize these two, as new.

In other words, the duck and goose were given to me to care for. I will do my best for them, within what I have. But, I'm not turning my life upside down, over two birds that will adapt.

and Monday night, my dogs tried to play a little rough with them, and I found white feathers everywhere. No injuries, but LOTS of feathers.

You corrected your dogs as soon as they started playing with these birds? Yet they apparently played with them long enough to tear out feathers and have them spread all over? Ok.
