Breed and gender?

Oh thankyou for sharing that with me, I was under the assumption Cockerel's only had feathered legs. I can't wait to see how the chicks turn out I have a little chick which I'm curious about as it has really long legs and a short body, the farmer reckons it's a pheasant cross chicken, is that possible? Please find a photo attached

The idea of a chicken/pheasant cross blew my mind so I googled it a little

bit. I found several claims that it's possible. 1 even claimed that they produce fertile offspring (that seems unlikely to me but who knows). But I actually found a pic of a supposed pheasant chicken hybrid. Look how beautiful! By the way your chick (chicken) is so pretty I'd love to see it feathered in!
