Thanks for your reply... yes, handsome which is why we picked him, however we were looking for a hen(long run) have had him(thought it was a her until now) for a month.
Can't really keep him... live in the city and really only wanted to have hens. I can return him to the farm he came from. I just feel guilty doing so... the other chicken I brought home with him is quite attached to him. My older hen is not really bonding with either one.Unfortunately that happens a lot unless u know what u looking for or you get them at 18 weeks POL can u keep him u have any other hens or roos? Xx

Yeah, I suspected the same just a bit too late. Guess we have to say handsome fella instead of pretty girl. Thanks so much for your help!!Thanks for posting the side shot. Yup looks like pointed hackle feathers are there and those red shoulders....kind of screams male.
