I’ve got this chicken that i’m not sure if it’s a hen or rooster. It hasn’t layed or crowed and is almost five months. Also know the breed would be great! Any help is great honestly.

I thought it looks like a roo. Could be a gurl tho. You think it could be an astralorp ?Hello and welcome to BYC!
I think its a pullet, hard to tell though. Could you get a closer picture?
As for the breed what is the color of the soles of the feet?
I could be a cockerel, Its hard to tell from the pic though, I do think I'm seeing pointy saddle feathers.I thought it looks like a roo. Could be a gurl tho. You think it could be an astralorp ?
Interesting ! I’ve never owned Jersey giantsI could be a cockerel, Its hard to tell from the pic though, I do think I'm seeing pointy saddle feathers.
I was thinking Australorp or Jersey Giant, Australorps have white soles and Jersey Giants have yellow soles.
Looking at the soles of their feet is really one of the only ways to tell the difference other than maybe weighing them. Jersey Giants are the largest chicken breed.Interesting ! I’ve never owned Jersey giants
