Breed and pullet or rooster?

I am worried that my daughter's chicken, the white one, may be a rooster, after hearing some strange vocal sounds the past few days from that chicken.

Also, what breed is she/he? She/he was bought at the same time as the others from the Tractor Supply in the same bin as the Gold Sex Links shown below. The only difference was she didn't have the two stripes, one each side, down her back.

Could you please help us on these points? I bought the chickens at the same time from the same bin at the Tractor Supply. They are supposed to all be Gold Sex Links, but as you can see, my daughter's is not, and with the strange sounds I'm hearing I'm worried she might be a he, which would mean we have to get rid of him per city ordinance. - Hoping for good news!

Definitely a cockerel. Especially if he was in with sex links. They're called as such because the color helps differentiate between gender after hatching.
