Honestly, I would not purchase chicks from a breeder that advertises 'mystery mix'.
 
haha, fair enough, I wanted to purchase locally where I could visit the farm and see the health and condition of the animals and their environment instead of mass factory farmed chicks that were shipped in boxes from somewhere, also wanted to get older birds of known sex, so this seemed like a good option, I'm ok with a barnyard "mutt" in my flock, I'm not showing them anyway, I'm assuming the mystery mix came from a rogue roo that hopped a fence or something
