I ordered day-old chicks from Meyer Hatchery (Buff Orps and a Light Brahma), and they gave me an extra girl and roo (their "meal maker" and "homestead helper" freebies).
The closest I could get to ID on the pullet was a White Legbar, BUT, then I noticed tiny and sparse feathering on the feet. So, maybe one of the Marans (except this didn't come with a leg band, so I figured it was just a run-o-the-mill bird).

All pics are of the same chick.

She almost looks like she has puffy cheeks? My Meyer order on 10/14 had a Green Queen for the meal maker, and it seems they've been using that breed for a lot of meal makers lately.

That makes sense with the barely feathered legs. Looks like Green Queen can look like ANYTHING. 😳
I’ve never actually heard of them before now. My last flock was in 2016…and I was focusing on the more common birds back then (except my roo).

They do very wildly. My first order from Meyer’s had a GQ and she looked like a RIR with muffs and beard. I like her so much I included another GQ with this years order and my meal maker will bring me up to three. For the two I got this year, one is a mostly black chick with clean legs, the other is grey…or blue I guess? With moderately feathered legs.

If you do Facebook, there’s a group on there specifically for ID’ing Meyer hatchery chicks and you could post her there for a second opinion.
