I didn't think she was even Cochin to be honest. But regardless, the breeder wouldn't replace the eggs anyway.

...but the leg color is wrong for a Cochin. Bantam Cochin have yellow legs/feet.

I think a misadventure with a Cochin happened. A gate gets left open, a lurking smile...

These are LF Cochin. But the not Cochin is now rehomed.

I think the breeder has to explain how the mama hen escaped and had a little lovin in the woods by an outlaw rooster. It is possible she is just a miracle of nature, though

Stinks. Difficult to find Cochin eggs. 4/12 fertile and only 3 actually Cochin.

Doubtful in my book... with a completely different feather pattern. I didn't even notice the leg color until y'all pointed it out. I did notice that she feathered in completely different than the other 3. I thought it was because she was one sex and they were another. But breeder won't explain. He just ignores contact.
