Breed for these 3?

My husband got these 3 at an auction two months ago. The rooster just started to crow a couple weeks ago. They were tagged as possible Black Breasted Red Phoenix but what do you think? (And no that's not our normal feeder. My son was off giving it a good deep clean after some flooding.)

Those look to be Cracker Fowl which are Red JungleFowl/American Game crosses.

Very lovely birds.

Abit more info from you may help to make a full determination on what breeds you may actually have though will help.

Did you get these guys from a hatchery, or from someone breeding them?

They could be Phoenixes like you said, but I'm not 100% sure.

They were at a livestock auction. They were simply marked as 1 roo, 2 pullets, possible BB Red Phoenix.

Possible, could mean they maybe mixed with something else.

Mixed breed then. He's a quite handsome fellow.
