Can black stars be cross-bred further? They're still a far cry from this one. The only bit that was not black when I got it at about three weeks was the pink tip of a toe, aside from the lighter chick down.

I've also come across svart hona, which seems to be more rare yet less expensive. I'm hoping someone who's had experience with those and a keen eye could tell me decisively.

Okay, no pea comb, so not a Sumatra.

Check the skin of the chicken, if it's black then you have Ceymani or Svart Hona. Cemani look more like a wild chicken, Svart Hona looks more like a regular standard chicken body shape.
