How to get a roo to be nice...alright, here it comes!!!
Spend a LOT of time with him. Carry him around, feed him from your hand, and correct his every wrong move. I recommend holding him upside down if he tries jumping you. It doesn't hurt him, and it shows him who's bigger. Bribe him with treats, and teach him that good things come when he's being nice. He's still young enough to learn, so be careful what you let him get away with. I made a big mistake with one of my roos....a cockerel jumping at your shoe is cute and entertaining...a cock stabbing you with his spurs is not. It is easier to train a cockerel than to fix a cock...I should but that in my signature

Here's the latest photo of my big white EE roo... He's getting pretty
good at crowing, not if he would just stop picking at and chasing
all the girls around!! Any chance he will settle down with that
as he matures, or will it only get worse?

Also, I have heard people refer to roos having
a favorite hen... Anybody notice a preference for
their particular breed? This one seems to be rougher
on the EE pullets than on the other two breeds.... Is
that normal?

He should settle doen. He is in teen stage and I am sure u know how teen boys r
