Breed? Gender??

This is "Nellie" any ideas on her breed? 5 weeks old and as a chick she was all black fuzz with white on the tips of the wings and had white/yellow chest adnd underbelly. Still has the white/yellow underbelly but the dark red on her head is making me think she's a "Ned." I got her from a local farm and she was in an cage marked wayndotte and black java with other fuzzy black and white chicks.

Eggalina is also 5 weeks old but not feathering as fast as her sisters and hasn't grown much at all. She is an easter egger?

Waffles is the same age as Eggalina but much bigger and mostly feathered. Also Easter Egger?

I can't really see the comb on Nellie and there are several breeds that start out B/W but it could be a Jersey Giant. Hate to tell you, but "Egg" is a cockeral

dont know on Egg but I think its a Ned not Nellie

Ok, Thank you. I'll keep an eye on both. Nelli/Ned doesn't really have a comb. It's not raised at all just flat but bright red.
