Woah I didn’t even know those had leg feathers. But no this might be a give away but they’re one of the biggest breeds of chickensLangshan
Hatchery EEs are Easter Egger X Easter Egger. Nothing else. That does make sense. I thought that EEs are just Ameraucanas x any other breed. Or at least that what some hatcheries sell their EEs as.
Yes Brahma! Blue Brahma to be exact. He has two more, one is a beautiful patterned German breed the other is Wyandotte but one of the darker colorations with red lacingHow many breeds does he have in him? Is it just three? I can say Brahmas aren't the biggest.Woah I didn’t even know those had leg feathers. But no this might be a give away but they’re one of the biggest breeds of chickens
Not the biggest for sure but one of themI can say Brahmas aren't the biggest.
Good sized for sure. Not the biggest for sure but one of them
Nope.Is the rooster a standard old English game x Brahma?
Ok. Yeah that makes sense. I did already know that most of the EE’s where just a blue Egg laying breed x a brown egg laying breed. That what I figured the hen that is my avatar was.I thought she was a Legbar cross. I got her from an EE bin.Hatchery EEs are Easter Egger X Easter Egger. Nothing else.
Easter Egger term is also used for any mixed breed with the blue egg gene. Like Easter Egger X Barred Rock. Other colored egger combinations can be made without EEs, which would include Crested Cream Legbars, or of course Ameraucanas bred to brown Eggers.
Yes, hatcheries do that.
