Dominant White is leaky on red base, but not on silver. Dominant White X Black produces Paints.
AustraWhites are White Leghorn X Black Australorp.

These Girls are a Red Pyle. Dominant White over Red Duckwing. View attachment 3656627View attachment 3656628These aren't pure for Dominant White so, they'd have one copy, so some of their offspring wouldn't be white.

Genetics can be weird, & or confusing.

Just as an example. Breeding two Red Pyles together makes more Red Pyle.

But if you breed a red Pyle to, a RIR which is a Red Columbian colored chicken, you'd get Red Incomplete Columbians, with White tails, & white in hackles.

How about Sunny? She was sold to me as a barnyard mix but after asking around she was shown to be a purebred just mixed in with barnyards. She’s fully grown

Red Columbian with white in tail, & hackles is like your typical Red Sex-link coloration. For example.

Here’s the chicken from the first guess! She’s gotten a lot bigger and her leg feathers are showing more. She is the austrawhite x light Brahma

Wow, it’s almost like she doesn’t have an Austrawhite in her.
