Anyone want to guess this pullet? She’s 50/50 common heritage breeds. One breed is very common, but the particular color is not so much.

Those neck feathers… is she part BCM, black sex link or Golden laced Wyandotte?

RIR X New Hampshire. (Technically would still be a RIR.) New Hampshires were made with RIRs, no other breed.

She is not RIR.

Her color is somewhat confusing, because it comes from the parent who is a less common color of a common breed.

She is not Marans or Wyandotte.
She is not part sex-link, but I don’t entirely know what breeds make up a sex-link.

Yes Brahma! Blue Brahma to be exact. He has two more, one is a beautiful patterned German breed the other is Wyandotte but one of the darker colorations with red lacing

Is one of the other breeds Sicilian Buttercup? And is the Wyandotte a Blue laced Red Wyandotte?

This crossing was done as a Sex-linked cross. Buff Orpington rooster over Barred Rock hen. This is a Buff Orpington X Australorp cross.
