Want to try Donut? She is a mix but the dads side only shows in her one black tail feather so you can just guess the dominant breed or whatever the proper term is

She is four months old so this is NOT her final look

I would say definitely part silkie. Is the other half Australorp?

These were supposedly found on the largest Island of Northern Mariana, islands in 1945.(Their nickname starts with an S, but they're not native to the location they were supposedly discovered)

Yes, nickname is Saipan, or Saipan JungleFowl. They're actually Taiwans, AKA: Taiwanese Gamefowl, Chinese Shamo, also sometimes called Taiwan Aseel.

They have a lot of names! I did see Taiwans a few times when I was googling.

Nope! She is part silkie but that actually doesn’t show on her. The only sign of her being a mix in her tail

Is she part Delaware? Or maybe Light Sussex? I see a little bit of black speckling on her neck hackles.

Nope. The only breed she shows other then the white tail stripe is a pure breed- they will grow up with a crest and beard as round as a donut and are a fairly rare breed (which is why she’s not pure)

Yes! That’s her mom and her dominant trait. The dad is some sort of silkie mix but both have blue feet and multiple toes, beards and crests
