Breed guess game!

Ahh. He's really pretty! I'm sorry for your loss of the other Ayam Cemani.
Ahh it’s alright it was bad health season and she was young. My silkie took it the hardest she raised her from a chick and stuck with her till she passed at about 2 months old

Anyone want to guess mine? She’s just a cross between 2 different breeds. It is kind of weird since I didn’t have any birds with the barred color, but if you know enough about color genetics it makes sense.

Here are the breeds I had in the coop at the time:

The breeds the roosters were:
1 Speckled Sussex
2 White Leghorn x Olive Egger crosses
2 Americaunas (they were to young to breed at the time though)

The hens breeds:
5 Rhode Island Reds
12 Red Sex-links
14 White Leghorns
1 Speckled Sussex
1 Blue Jersey Giant
2 Blue Plymouth Rocks
2 Midnight Marans
2 Cinnamon Queens (the Silver Laced Wyandotte x Rhode Island Red crosses)
3 Olive Egger
2 White Leghorn x Olive Egger crosses
1 Rhode Island Red x Speckled Sussex cross
4 Easter Egger Color Pack
1 Delaware

What birds do have that are barred.

I didn’t have any. That’s why I was saying it was weird how she is barred. I studied more about color genetics, and I was able to find out why she looked that way. It is just how the colors that she is crossed with made her look.
White Leghorns can hide barring. But you can't have Barred birds magically pop up without having the barring gene.

There's Transverse Pencilling, which is completely different, & more then one gene is involved to produce it. It's what gives Gold Campines, Death Layers, & Egyptian Fayoumis their patterns.

Barring is something I have most experience with.

The red sex link white leghorn olive egger cross? I know red sex links usually have recessive barring
