Hello,
I have 2 of these chickens that are 14 weeks old and they are so mean to the rest of the flock that is the same age.
They have both been caught pecking the others to the point of blood dripping and I can not get them to stop.
I have a friend that is interested in taking them but she wants to know the breed.
Help!

I cannot help you with the breed (someone will be along to help I'm sure), but as for those 2 peckers? You need to isolate them so they cannot continue that behavior. As they've drawn blood it will make your other birds start in, too.

That hen you have in the front is a gold laced Wyandotte. The hen in the back is either a barred rock or a Dominique.
do you know if this breed is usually aggressive to other breeds? Im not sure if I should try to isolate it and if I do I'm not even sure how I would go about doing it, or should i give her to a friend? any suggestions or your opinions are really appreciated!! thanks

Let's try to figure out why are they pecking.

Did you recently add them to your flock or have they all grown up together?

How many birds and how much space (feet by feet) is in the coop and run?

Once blood appears you'll need to remove the bullies from the coop/run to another enclosure.
Make sure the other birds don't go after the bloodied ones, if they do you may have to separate the injured ones also...or use blukote to cover the blood(sometimes helps).
