Breed ID help?!

Bought Rare assortment of chicks from TSC.
Not sure what I have. I am not the most patient person to wait, either lol I have thoughts about what they could be, but really not sure.
The black ones are extremely friendly and all 5 are the same. The brown ones all look alike except one, and she has

more speckled feathers.

I'm no expert, don't quote me, but the black with white on the front look like Barred Rocks, and the brown one with the speckled feathers looks like a Speckled Sussex! Both wonderful breeds!

The black ones could be Dominique or Cuckoo Marans. The brown ones speckled Sussex . Possibly an Olive Egger.

No expert but the black ones with the spot look exactly like my barred rock did when she was a chick but they aren’t exactly rare. Hope you find out soon.

We've had barred rocks and ours looked a little different....these have yellow, not white (sorry....it's hard to tell with the lighting).
As far as the brown ones....the one with the prominent spots, I thought could be a sussex or a Welsummer, but not sure about the other 4 because of their feathers. 3 of the brown chicks are lighter in color and 2 are darker. Not sure if that helps or makes a difference

TSC uses Hoover’s Hatchery quite a bit for their chick supplier. You could go to their web site and look at the rare breed section. It might help.

I actually went online and also looked at the catalog....narrowed it down by about half, but that was about it. I even looked at Myer Hatchery and Murray McMurray catalogs for the same breed pics

The black and white’s are Barred Rocks. They have single combs and yellow/green/slate legs. The brown one looks to be a Speckled Sussex, but I wouldn’t rule out Welsummer. I can’t see the leg colour great but you’ll soon know when they feather in more.

Ok so I just looked online....again! The black ones are NOT barred rocks. I have had them before and they do not look the same. These are a maran of some sort.
