Got a rooster this year. It was free from a buddy and very well could be a mut but trying to identify what it could be, or a mix. Thoughts? I'm thinking welsummer?

Thanks for the ID. The tail being darker threw me off but I guess all the pics I see they do have dark tails. Comments on temperament? Have heard rhode Island roosters can be mean.

I've never had a RIR roo, but I think they tend to be more on the aggressive side.
