Can anyone tell me what breed of broiler this is? They’re growing relatively slowly, the pictured bird is about 12 weeks old. I’m beginning to think that maybe they aren’t broilers. Some of them have more black on their tail feathers and around the neck.

Thank you!

Ok. So probably CX, they’re just not very plump and they can run fast, I was always under the impression that CX have leg and weight issues and grow super fast.
No I don't think your's is a CX. The black hen behind mine in the video is an adult hen part black jersey giant.
These gals dressed out over 8 and 9 lbs at 12 wks. A hatchery barred rock cockerel dresses out maybe 3 lbs at 16 weeks.
These CX were raised by a broody turkey and free ranged. Only fed 2x a day.

I also do not think that is a CX based on size, body conformation, and those black feathers. Probably not a ranger or slow broiler either. What hatchery did you get them from? Maybe we could get a clue from their website.

It has a single comb, yellow legs, and a weak columbia feather pattern. You said some had more black feathers, I assume around the neck and in the tail. It looks to be the same size as your other dual purpose breeds. There are several possible breeds based on that.

Whoa, ya these are nowhere close to that size. Well I guess I’ll just wait it out and harvest them when they get a bit bigger. Thanks
