Hello all!

A little background. My husband purchased these babies from the feed store a few months ago. They are from Ideal Hatchery from an assorted duckling bin. I have been trying to identify breed and I believe the two tan ones are buffs but the 3rd one I am not sure? They are quite the characters. Thank you for taking the time to read, greatly appreciated.

3 looks like a Silver Swedish. You're probably right on the buffs, but I've never owned any and feel unqualified to judge.

This is my first time ever having ducks. :) I have had chickens for a few years.. hubby fell victim to the cute littles at the store while getting feed for the hens. Uggh. Thank you so much for your your input :)

Sarkchick, no she doesn't stand like a runner.

The swedish does make sense, she does have some pretty splash feathers. I was looking at ideal's list of breeds trying to figure it out but once all the genetics come in I get so lost. ;) The different color variations, even if slight. Either way, they are great little birds so far.

And again, thank you so much for everyone's input! I greatly appreciate it!

The head looks Swedish like however Swedish should be bigger than the buff even if it's younger. And I highly doubt a hatchery going to sell a splash Swedish in a mixed assortment. I have yet to even see any of the top online hatcheries sell Splashed Swedish ( if you know about it please let me know) because it's so hard to know what you're going to get.

But I tell you this you got some very beautiful unique ducks and that's all that matters!!
