Breed Identification

Ideal does not have a large variety of ducks. If you go to their web site you will see a list, and that will eliminate some possibilities. For example, they don't have Welsh Harlequins, so its unlikely that any of yours are that breed.

I agree with splash Swedish. I have ducks from both Ideal and Metzers. The Swedish from Ideal tend to be smaller in size. They are smaller than my Buffs. One of my Buffs, Emily looks just like the picture including the white ring on her neck. My Swedish from Metzers were huge. But my Swedish from Ideal I call the mini ducks. I am jealous, I want a splash. So pretty.

I do hope mine are hens, at least a few of them anyway. They like to go nibble on my silkies feathers. I am not sure if that is an aggression thing or will become that but so far they get along with the chickens for the most part.
