What is the best thing to do with extra Jaerhon roosters? Are there really enough meat on them to eat? Just wondering I have a flock of Jaerhons and have a few extra roosters.

I just found this thread and I have one Norwegian Jaerhon Pullet "Olga" that I got from Ideal, she is 6 weeks old and a really neat bird! She is completely feathered already and was wondering if anyone knew about the colors of them. I keep looking at pics on feathersite and google and just can't really tell.
Here is Olga at 6 weeks!

I came across this thread because I have two Norwegian Jaerhons. I hope they are pullets.

Olga is lovely. Such a pretty body shape- very graceful looking for a chicken.

I always thought "Jaerhon" was a cognate of "Leghorn" but I guess not. In any case, I'm intrigued by these birds. We hope they'll be good layers for our small family.

I recently hatched out a pullet and two roos from some eggs I got from easttxchick. I really like them! They're a month and a bit and they seem really nice. I'm looking to get some more hatching eggs they are however not as available as many other breeds.
