I believe you are right but I would like to see a good close-up photo of the one in question of the face/head/comb. Maybe you could have someone hold it so you can get a real good close-up photo?
Also a close-up of the area just before the tail the saddle area, side view and view from the top.
This one is definitely a boy. Sorry.Hopefully these help. I tried to get lots of pictures. It kinda looks like they have hackle feathers but doesn’t look like they have saddle feathers. My other chicken looks like it has hackle feathers too but people have noted she is definitely a pullet. Ugh, I don’t know.. I will be so sad if they are a cockerel, I won’t be able to keep them.
