Breed of this Rooster?

I agree, if anything else it's a beautiful bird! How is his attitude? Hopefully he can stick around for a while

Weeeelllllll..... He's been getting pretty testy. He wasn't hand raised by us, so he didn't start out super friendly. Lately, he's been jumping at us if we don't walk into the run with a handful of treats. He spurred my husband in the hand the other day pretty good and he's ready to get rid if him ASAP!
 
If you must get rid of him, sell him on here because, eventhough I can't keep roos, somone on BYC is bound to love him, even if he is just going to be used as a show bird! Try to keep him though! Keep Keep KEEP!

Many of what are called Red Jungle Fowl today in the US are not pure and have old English in them. The one pictured doesn't appear to be a jungle fowl. Yours is probably an old English.




BUT this guy here has white legs with red streaks....
