I was only suggestng that with crosses of unknow linage- think outside the box. It does look like a modern game but with that color pattern and leg color it could be anything.

It is not a splash or a black, could be a Mottled but I have never seen a mottled Modern game much less a Mottled chick.

I just remember a while back seeing pictures of "oriental" chickens (not really sure what country they were in though" and it had long legs and was lean looking (not skinny and malnurished, but lean muscular build). thanks for clarification (still learning

either way this is a cute little chicky and will check back for pic updates on growth and feather pattern
