I have a black chicken, her feathers have a purple and green sheen. Deep brown eyes, has a beard and pea comb that has barley grown yet ( Shes only 3 months old. ). She has black feet and 4 toes. The picture down below looks like her. It is not my picture, its from the internet.

I suspect she might be a easter egger or olive egger.

I think i will know WHEN she lays an egg. She is about 3-4 months old, easter eggers dont lay until 7 months and olive eggers lay at 5 months.

It all varies with each individual bird.

My EE didn't start laying until almost 10 months.

My Sister's EE began laying between 5-6 months.

Some chickens are bred to lay sooner, & die younger. These are high Production hybrids.

I avoid this variety of chicken.
