Maybe ask the staff, when you visit the store again?Alright i dont think shes a EE. When is asked an employee who supplies the chicks they said they didnt know surprisingly but thats alright. The store just got a brand new poster that shows which species of chickens they have. I saw Ameraucana but no EE or OE so i dont think shes a EE.

For some reason I was thinking you got her from tractor supply. If she came from a store like that she is a EE or a OE but if she came from a breeder or..... (I'm not sure if you can order those?) she could be a black Ameraucana. That's what I thought of first but like I said above I thought you got her from TSC so that made me say EE/OE. 😂 It would be nice if she ended up being a Ameraucana.

Chicken is the species.
Breeds are the different kinds (Ameraucana, Leghorn, and so forth).
Varieties are divisions of breeds (Black, White, Blue, sometimes different comb types or feather types)

Many places sell Easter Eggers but label them "Ameraucana." (Sometimes they spell it wrong.)

A few places sell Ameracaunas that really are Ameraucanas. They usually charge quite a bit more money than for most other breeds.

Olive Eggers are usually labeled Olive Eggers, and sometimes cost more than Easter Eggers (the difference: Olive Egger is supposed to lay a darker green egg than most Easter Eggers.)

What I am saying applies in the USA, where I live. If you live in another country, things could be very different.

They sell EEs under the name Ameraucana.
She's an EE.
